As we reported, President Donald Trump will be meeting with Bill Maher through the auspices of Kid Rock.
That was significant because despite sometimes “getting it” on some issues, Maher has let his Trump Derangement Syndrome stand in his way, being a critic of Trump for many years. But Maher said the idea was maybe, in some way, the meeting could be a path toward healing the divide in the country if they just reached out to show how it was done. And, of course, President Trump has shown he will talk with and reach out to anyone — even Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
