Donald Trump took the stage Saturday at a campaign rally at Wilmington International Airport in battleground North Carolina, but it wasn’t the GOP nominee who got the loudest cheers. That distinction arguably goes to two of his grandchildren, seven-year-old Luke and five-year-old Carolina, the children of son Eric and wife Lara (who is also the co-chair of the Republican National Committee).
First, he brought Carolina to the podium, where she told the crowd, “Make America(n) great again!” They ate it up, but then Luke had his own moment where he said into the microphone, “Vote for Grandpa!” The audience loved it.
