Some people can’t seem to take a hint. In 2018, despite believing that she had been elected as the next governor of Georgia, Stacey Abrams failed to take up residence in the Governor’s mansion. Last year she lost to Brian Kemp by eight points, something of a “blowout” in a state so closely divided that other races took days to count. One might imagine that the voters were trying to tell her something. But the message clearly hasn’t sunk in yet. Yesterday, she showed up on Drew Barrymore’s television show and declared that she would “likely” run for office again. Which office? We don’t know because she didn’t say.
