Two Fans Sue Madonna For Starting Her NYC Concert Two Hours Late

Two Madonna fans from New York are suing the pop singer for delaying her Brooklyn concert two hours past the scheduled start time, a move which they say caused undue hardship and stress.

Michael Fellows of Brooklyn and Jonathan Hadden of The Bronx are upset in part because they had to be up early for work the next day. That made them especially aggravated when the 65-year-old star didn’t take the stage until close to 11 p.m. at her December 13 performance at Barclays Center. The show was part of the singer’s “Celebration Tour.”

The two men filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Brooklyn federal court, per The New York Post. The document states that their tickets showed a start time of 8:30 p.m. but Madonna didn’t start her portion of the show until around 10:45 p.m.
