‘Unsung Hero’ Celebrates Big Box Office Success With Faith-Based Film

From the studio responsible for “Jesus Revolution,” “Unsung Hero” found big box office success after earning nearly $8 million its opening weekend.

The movie, which tells the true story about the family behind the hugely successful Christian band, for King + Country, hit theaters nationwide Friday April 26th and came in way ahead of expectations, scoring second place at the domestic box office, after it opened close to $7.8 million, the Hollywood Reporter Reported.

The film from Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company celebrates faith and sends the message “family is not in the way; they are the way,” as previously reported.
