Well into Night Three of the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, CNN liberal commentator Van Jones opined about how Democratic supposedly had a “deeper patriotism” than what was on display during the Republican National Convention last month. He also insisted that Democrats valued the “freedom of a full life.” Meanwhile, they had Planned Parenthood killing babies out in the parking lot.
Shortly before Oprah Winfrey spoke at the convention, Jones rambled on about how there was a noticeable difference in the quality of the patriotism between Democrats and Republicans: “I feel like there’s a distinction between what I would call a cheaper patriotism and a deeper patriotism. This is a deeper patriotism here, it’s not just the rah rah stuff.”
