More than a year ago, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had just barely started running as a Democrat candidate for president, after announcing in April 2023. He hadn’t yet made the decision to leave the political party he literally grew up in to run as an Independent, after the powers that be in that party sued to keep him off ballots across the country, and leaned on their media lackeys to defame his character. And no one could have conceived of him suspending his campaign and endorsing a Republican for president, former President Donald Trump, which just happened on Friday.
