“The Apprentice” star Sebastian Stan said “we have to stop pretending that Trump is not one of us” following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory.
Speaking to reporters about his portrayal of Trump in the fictionalized biopic, Stan talked about the president-elect not only winning the Electoral College, but the popular vote as well against Vice President Kamala Harris, as liberals in Hollywood and media continue to label him as a “fascist” and more.
“We have to stop pretending that Trump is not one of us,” Stan said, mentioning a recent New York Times Op-Ed. “I understand the emotions are very high, but I think that’s the only way you’re going to grasp this film. All it’s saying is you cannot keep casting this person aside, especially after they get the popular vote.”
