Donald Trump provided a surprising response when confronted with the viral moment between him and Barack Obama at Thursday’s funeral for former President Jimmy Carter.
Trump, speaking with reporters following a meeting with Republican governors at Mar-a-Lago later in the day, was asked to comment on the exchange with a man who has consistently denigrated him as a threat to democracy.
The two had a fairly lengthy conversation, which included a moment when Obama let out a laugh and another where Kamala Harris looked on in disgust.
“What were you talking to Barack Obama about?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy wondered.
While the President-elect declined to provide explicit details, his response was surprisingly playful.
