As more than a few of you noticed (and rightfully so), there were no Sunday Smiles published this week.
Given that the post by its nature contains a lot of cynical humor it didn’t seem appropriate for Easter Sunday, so we decided to wait until midweek. Some of you were so disappointed that a nearly two-year-old version of SS made it to the top of the charts on Monday. Thanks!
You might not guess it, but Sunday Smiles is by a long way my most time-consuming post to publish, and is actually pretty resource intensive for Hot Air, as it takes a lot of bandwidth–which actually costs money. Aside from video content the cost/click ratio is actually pretty high compared to mostly text posts.
But you love them and so do I. I even use a decent chunk of one of my days off to produce them for those reasons.
Which brings me to my pitch: you keep coming back to Hot Air and all the Townhall…
