Fox News host Greg Gutfeld blasted his own network after he told them not to show video of a couple of climate activists latest stunt before he called the network “idiots” for playing “this crap.”
During the Fox News’ “The Five” on Monday, Gutfeld didn’t hold back his thoughts about the publicity stunt as the network showed footage of global warming protestors vandalizing one of the world’s most famous pieces of art at a museum in London.
“Let’s not show it,” Gutfeld can be overheard saying. “Don’t show it.”
One of the hosts, Jessica Tarlov, states, “no, I don’t think we even have it,” as the network played the clip of activists vandalizing the famous painting with cans of tomato soup, as The Daily Wire previously reported.
“This is why it works!” Gutfeld replied. “This is why it works because we’re idiots because we play it. This is why these people are brilliant because you saw this originally at sporting events.”

“Once … yes, this is a brilliant play,” he added, disputing his cohost Judge Jeanine Pirro who said it wasn’t. “We’re not supposed to play this crap. We’re amplifying their stupid silly message. But I get it. It’s fun to watch.”
“But it’s not hard to find out how they figured this out,” Gutfeld continued. “It all works with mass shootings as well. If you can just read the press, we’re suckers. We’ll just play the same thing, over and over and over again. Like when it was happening at sporting events. It happened once. Then it happened twice and then it kept happening. And then it stopped.”
The Fox News host said if you go back twenty years there was “always” streakers on the field. He noted that it didn’t stop until people stopped covering it.
“So, I thought that we weren’t going to play it, that’s really sucky,” Gutfeld said, noting what he called his solution for this and that’s the old-adage “an eye for an eye for this crap.”
“We should be able to vandalize their belongings,” the host told the panel. “Like, if they got a smart phone, which they all do … you confiscate, you step on it. That’s a couple hundred bucks. Or you go to their house. You find out where they sleep and you just dump a bunch of milk in their house.”
“Because you know, I don’t like being played,” Gutfeld aded. “That’s what they’re doing. They are playing the media on this … I’d hate to be their parents.”
The latter comment about dumping milk in their house stems from a clip of another group of teen climate activists in a store in London dumping gallons of milk on the ground.
