Imagine how difficult it must be to be a Biden White House staffer.
You’re always running after the Big Guy to make sure he doesn’t trip, gaffe, or get lost. Then, when he does say something ridiculous or incoherent, if you’re on the communications team, you have to figure out how to explain it and clean up the mess. You know that he has horrible approval, and no one thinks he’s doing a good job. But somehow, you have to sell that everything is great and he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread — which I sometimes think was invented three winters before he was born (not really, but you get my drift).
But I can’t have a lot of sympathy for them because they’re working for an administration that’s so harming the country.
So I found it a little funny that the White House Chief of Staff, Jeff Zients, had to throw a “morale booster” party for them. It was for hundreds of aides…
