Who Has the Radical Position on Abortion? ABC Hides Extreme Democrat’s True Stance

The leftist partisans posing as political journalists at ABC want you to think that the candidate in Georgia with an extreme position on abortion is Herschel Walker. On Monday, Good Morning America allowed Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock to slam his opponent as the only ideologically rigid candidate. No mention of the fact that Warnock opposes ANY restrictions right up until birth.

Reporter Rachel Scott insisted, “Walker opposes abortion, no exceptions. His opponent, Senator Raphael Warnock making it clear he supports abortion rights.” She then played a clip of Warnock attacking, “I support reproductive choice. My opponent, on the other hand, is talking about a nationwide ban.”

ABC, yet again, failed to note just how radical Warnock is on abortion. Saying he “supports abortion rights” is an understatement.  As noted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on June 30, the Democrat refused to mention ANY restrictions he supports:

Warnock, by contrast, didn’t take a position when pressed on whether he’d support any limits to abortion if there’s a new legislative push to reverse the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade.

Scott then highlighted the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate race and failed to note that John Fetterman also supports abortion up until birth: “In Pennsylvania, talk show host and Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz is facing off Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman back on the campaign trail after suffering a stroke just months ago.”

Instead, the networks only want to focus only on the allegations that Walker paid for an abortion in 2009, devoting over 27 minutes by last Friday.

WHIT AYERS: We turn now to Your voice, your vote. We’re just 29 days away from the crucial midterm elections with the House and Senate at stake. Candidates in key races are dashing across their states in a final push for votes. Congressional correspondent Rachel Scott is in studio with the very latest. Rachel, good morning.

RACHEL SCOTT: Hey, Whit. Good morning. Well, believe it or not we’re just one month out from election day for what’s shaping up to be one of the most consequential election days in decades. With just one month to go, candidates are crisscrossing their states making their final pitches to voters.

JOHN FETTERMAN: Send me to D.C. And I’ll be that 51st vote.

SCOTT: Republicans are fighting to win back the House and the Senate. They see the path to victory through several key battleground states. In Georgia, GOP leaders rallying behind Senate Republican candidate Herschel Walker even as his campaign is rocked by controversies, facing allegations he paid a woman to have an abortion.

HERSCHEL WALKER: This here abortion thing is false, it’s a lie.

SCOTT: Walker opposes abortion, no exceptions. His opponent, Senator Raphael Warnock making it clear he supports abortion rights.

RAPHAEL WARNOCK: I support reproductive choice. My opponent, on the other hand, is talking about a nationwide ban.

SCOTT: In Pennsylvania, talk show host and Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz is facing off Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman back on the campaign trail after suffering a stroke just months ago.

FETTERMAN: Oz doesn’t care about Pennsylvania. Never has.

MEHMET OZ: I’m the guy for change and Pennsylvanians want change.

SCOTT: And in Nevada, vulnerable Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is hoping to fend off GOP candidate Adam Laxalt, a former state attorney general.

ADAM LAXALT: Folks, we only have one shot to save this state and save America. Let’s go out and get it done. Go out and vote.

SCOTT: Both parties framing this election as a referendum, for Republicans it’s all about the economy and inflation. While Democrats hope abortion rights will become a defining issue playing out across the gubernatorial races across the country too.
