Hoo-boy, it’s gettin’ real in Fulton County. While District Attorney Fani Willis has so far avoided any type of repercussions for her blatantly political prosecution of Donald Trump and many others related to the 2020 presidential election, it looks like a woman scorned could change things.
That “woman scorned” would be the estranged wife of special prosecutor Nathan Wade, who has now subpoenaed Willis to appear for a deposition in the couple’s divorce proceedings. According to CNN, Willis was served the subpoena on Monday, the same day Michael Roman, one of the Trump defendants, filed a motion containing explosive allegations that Willis and Wade have been carrying on a romantic relationship prior to the time Willis appointed him as special prosecutor in November 2021.
