Every year it seems that the Christmas decorations in the stores go up a little earlier; one wouldn’t be surprised these days to find jingle bells framing doorways in the local shops only days after the patriotic Independence Day bunting has come down. Presidential elections are getting to be the same way; the dust has barely settled from the 2024 elections, the last few close races are still being decided, and people are already speculating about 2028.
