Connecticut Sun guard DiJonai Carrington, this past season’s WNBA Most Improved Player, caused some controversy as she flaunted a pre-game outfit featuring a hoodie with an explicit message directed at President Donald Trump.
Carrington is currently on a team in Unrivaled, a 3-on-3 professional women’s basketball league that began play last week. She plays on the Mist Basketball Club.
On Friday, the Mist took on the Laces. And their new star player was spotted heading into Wayfair Arena in Miami, Florida. Carrington posted images on social media, drawing attention to the message on her shirt.
