On Wednesday night, the Dodgers-Yankees final game averaged 18.6 million viewers across all Fox Sports platforms, including the broadcast network, Fox Deportes, and streaming services, with the main broadcast network having an audience of 18.15 million people, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Dodgers’ victory also ended up being a seven-year high for the game since 2017, when the Houston Astros had a seven game victory over the Dodgers with an average audience of 18.93 million.
As a whole, the entire series gave Major League Baseball its fourth largest audience baseball has seen since 2010, trailing only behind the 2016 series with nearly 23 million viewers, 2017’s 18.93 million viewers, and 2011’s 16.5 million viewers….
