It would appear that James Comer’s announcement that he would move to hold FBI director Christopher Wray in Contempt of Congress has had the desired effect. Or at least part of the desired effect, slowly moving the ball a little bit further down the field. Wray has been stonewalling the House Oversight Committee on the release of the FD-1023 form which allegedly reveals a bribery scheme involving Joe Biden worth millions of dollars. Now, following a phone call last night, Wray is offering to allow committee chair James Comer and ranking member Jamie Raskin a chance to “view” the document(s) at Wray’s FBI headquarters.
