Vance had apparently been delayed in an Oval Office meeting, but made his excuses to President Trump and hotfooted it down to Quantico on Marine Two. He arrived with one heck of an excuse note for his tardiness, noting the president had sent his best wishes from the White House: “We love ya, we’re proud of ya and we’re going to support you every single step of the way.”
