Former “Meet the Press” moderator and NBC News analyst Chuck Todd tore into Sen. Chuck Schumer for his absurd response to questions about his role in shielding President Joe Biden from scrutiny of his years-long evident cognitive decline.
Todd was responding specifically to Schumer’s reaction to questioning by CNN’s Kasie Hunt regarding Schumer’s past comments about Biden. Schumer (D-NY) dismissed concerns about Biden’s mental and physical fitness as “right-wing propaganda.”
The Senate Minority Leader offered little more than a dismissive response when Hunt questioned him, spurred on by a new book by a pair of journalists trying to profit off the cover-up.
“We’re looking forward,” Schumer snidely responded.
